Our Journey

 

Hi, I'm Chrizzy, the founder of Nomzy — a small, family-run New Zealand business created from my own journey as a mum.

 

When I started looking for tableware for my little one, I wanted something durable, practical and made to last. I struggled to find exactly what I was looking for, so Nomzy was born from a desire to bring better mealtime options to families.

 

We carefully select stainless steel tableware and practical silicone products for babies, toddlers and little ones — from first foods and baby-led weaning through to everyday family mealtimes.

 

Why Nomzy?

 

Nomzy is all about making the switch to stainless steel simple.

Our range is designed specifically for babies, toddlers and young children, combining durable 304 stainless steel with practical LFGB certified silicone features where they're needed — from suction bases that help keep plates and bowls in place, to silicone sleeves that make products easier for little hands to hold.

From first foods and baby-led weaning to messy toddler meals, our products are designed for real family life.

We want tableware that can be used again and again, washed easily, handed down and enjoyed for years — rather than something that needs to be constantly replaced.

Building Nomzy From The Ground Up

 

Starting a small product business from scratch has definitely come with its challenges.

There have been late nights, big learning curves, stock arriving from overseas, packing orders at home, figuring out marketing, attending expos and trying to balance building a business with family life.

It hasn't always been easy, but every order, customer message, review and photo of a little one using Nomzy makes it incredibly worthwhile.

What started as an idea has grown into a community of families choosing Nomzy for their little ones' mealtimes, and I’m so grateful for every person who has supported us along the way.

 

 

More Than Just Tableware

 

I don't want Nomzy to simply be another children's tableware brand.

I want it to be a brand that parents can trust — one that makes it easier to choose durable, thoughtfully designed products for their little ones without compromising on style or practicality.

We're only just getting started.

I'm constantly thinking about what parents and little ones need next and how we can continue to improve the Nomzy range.

There are plenty of ideas for new products, new designs and new ways to make everyday mealtimes better.
